I work in a grocery store. Once, this big, burly black man (not really important, but the mental imaging makes it funnier), comes up to the register with an eggplant. He looks at me, and says 'I send her the purple pickle, she sends me the wet wet'. I don't even know why it was so funny to me at the time, just the pure ridiculousness of it, and I just start laughing. One of the few good moments I've had with retail.
