That or ge jyst didn't consider that he'd actually be turning it on. Sometimes the obvious details don't occur to big picture people

WAIT HES PLAYING A CAMERA MAN ON THE SHOW omg im slow, they gave him a camera as a prop but he actually used it and they wanted to use the footage or just keep the red light blinking
