Are you an adult? That's probably why.
Children have less control over their bladders.

if you sleep, you are not consciousness about your physical body (no consciousness "control" over your bladder). if you are a child or adult, this fact don't change. i did dream to go to toilet as a child often, without peeing in reallife. so your argument is wrong. i train as a hobby often lucid dreaming and work with dream stuff since im 11-12 years old.. so i know much about dreams and can assure that going to toilet in a dream is not connected with peeing in reallife. it can happen that you pee in reallife while you dream, but this is not connected directly with the "go to toilet" action in a dream. if you don't trust me, please try it in a lucid dream as an example.

Quote: "For such cases, it may seem that your dream made you pee. But, it is actually the other way around. Your brain has received the signal that your bladder is full and you need to urinate. This signal or stimulus has provided the inspiration for your dream about peeing."
In other words.. You dream about going to the toilet because your brain gets the signal that it need to pee. If you really really need to pee, you will. If you sleep or not. Its just bad luck if you pee and dream about it at the same time.

Just because two things happen at the same time, this don't means that one of it did trigger the second thing. Please inform yourself next time.. Thanks. if your bladder is too full, you will pee.. if you want or not. if you are awake or not. if you sleep and your bladder is too full..you will pee. but too if you are awake. the brain gets a signal "hey, the bladder is full!".. and will then pee if it gets too much. but the signal will sometimes trigger a dream about going to the toilet / peeing.. but the dream itself will not trigger the real-life peeing. it's the same like you would say "rain is triggering thunder".. it's just not true. it may happen at the same time, but is not triggered by each other.
