you don't justify murder by saying he did it first. Violence doesn't end violence, it only extends it.

just put them in jail for life. solitary confinement. Nothing gives you the right to take another's life. Unless, you know, they're coming at your face with a knife and it's you or them. Who are we to decide when to end another's life?

I find this argument very annoying, from how much it is used, not by its presence. Let's say we found the zodiac killer. Would he be put to death, after what he did? Killing more than 30 people and saying that when he dies they will be his 'slaves'? I do find the death punishment very eligible, by the cause of that one dudes law, like if you steal something you get your hand cut off? Can't remember, but I feel as if they are completely legitimate. Except for the hand cutting part. I d-don't think that a good idea
