Common core. Basically make simple math as overly complicated as possible and call it easier

I don't know enough about Common Core to give any break downs, so I'll just leave this here: 2+2 = 2x2 = 2^2 = 2^1 + 2 = 4(2^0) = -2(2i^2) = (2i^2)^2
