it's a glitch / bug in i think the first 2 generations. there you can feed a pokemon rare candy till they are level 250 and then after another candy it drops to level 0.
You sure its 250 ? 255 seems more likely since thats the maximum value you can store on 8bits. And if you add one to that, you will overflow it and it would reset to 0 (since 256 would be coded by a 1 followed by 8 zeroes).
Pretty sure thats the same reason Ghandi used to go nuclear, his aggresivity dropped below zero, which looped around to maximum aggressivity.

okay, i looked it up. you're right, it was 255 not 250.

Pretty sure thats the same reason Ghandi used to go nuclear, his aggresivity dropped below zero, which looped around to maximum aggressivity.
