Excuse me but I get a lip set that was $28 for $14 and the full size one in there is $18
A $24 mascara for $10 and so many more
If you can't find good deals on blackfriday, your blackfriday skills need seriously upgrading
You can get those deals on Friday. Comporate America thinks it should also be on Thursdays at some places, so some of us don't get to spend time with their families on a holiday so people can save money on deals.
You know how rare Huda, ABH go on 20-40% sale??? Sephora only has 20% sale like twice a year.
I hardly spend time doing anything but making popcorn when new hot hit movies come out. Its fine. It's just part of the job.
Not my fault you chose to work in retail
Should I say my customers stop going to the movies on the very first day it comes out so my job is easier?
Every job has its pros and cons. Live with it
I wasnt complaining about the people. I was mentioning how Thanksgiving is being overshadowed by Black Friday. People can do what they want. Working on BF gives me an excuse not to see certain people.
We do celebrate Thanksgiving. When you live in a small town of less than 2500 people, you take what job you can find. Black Friday used to just be on Friday. Then people became needy and greedy, and stores started staying open on Thanksgiving Day instead of the day after.
Also. The movie prices don't change if they wait a day or two after a movie comes out. I have managed two theaters before. We allowed our employees that have kids to be home for the holidays. Standard retail stores do not.
Suck to be you then
And it won't but will they wait? Nope
And can I do anything about it? Does me complaining about it change anything? Nope
I actually work overtime during holidays, Valentine's, Christmas, midsummer, new year,... the bigger the holiday is, the more people will come and the busier I will be
But whatever, I enjoy the pressure and it's a part of the job.
