Pretty sure they meant within groups, not between groups. Just that women have gone up in hours compared to men going down.

Yeah but what they mean is our hours are longer than men hours, we have more minutes in them. Because of our longer hours, we only need to work 5 hours where a man has to work 10h.
...Well... I tried.
