Congrats to NASA! Insight just landed on Mars!

Space is dark yo. Plus Mars isn't as close to the sun as we are.

Not to mention the thing has 34 million miles to travel including space dust, radiation, and a buttload of other stuff. It isn't gonna make it in pristine condition.

And Mars have pretty hefty sandstorms like once or twice per sol

didn't they already? i thought i saw a picture from it a few days ago.
