I never saw a problem with this. I grew up with a barbie obsession almost. But I never thought I would gopw up to look like one. Just basic common sense. It is a doll. If people base their image on a doll well there are deeper issues than just the doll. Mind you, I had/ have self steem issues but I never compared myself to barbies

Yes and both are a problematic. Teach your kids they don't have to be roid ripped or bone thin to be accepted - don't just let the toys do it.
