I remember this time when I was at school, I got a different answer to majority of my friends for this maths question (I'm usually awful at maths) so they all assumed I was incorrect. I showed them how I did it and I kept stating I was certain this was correct, one of my friends kept laughing at me and saying she doesn't know how I could be so wrong etc. (what a good friend I know). When the teacher came over and told me I was correct and the rest were wrong it took ALL my energy not to hold it above them and be a dick about it.

You forgot the part where they disliked your comment when they realized how correct you were. I get it all the time. I assume they just don't like the truth as they never bother to explain how I'm wrong...
