Funny enough, here in arkansas, youd still best pay. Even with this, not paying can get you evicted on the spot because we have no renters rights

Wait even with a handwritten letter from the landlord saying he is waving your rent for december ? Surely if you take this to court you would win ?

Nope. He could've been drunk or under duress. Better pay your rent.

I don't think if one was drunk they could write this well. Under duress; that can be easily found by an writing expert. I would like to think this was genuine.
