I never understood racism, I mean we all originated from Africa and later evolved different skin tones to help us adapt to the conditions and amount of sunlight we received dependent on our position to the equator. And yet we use this evolutionary advantage as a disadvantage on the basis of which we enslave ,kill and discriminate others.Like just imagine getting a skin tan and being treated differently all of a sudden very, illogical and sad to see.
Too be fair the misconceptions that cause racism do tend to be more complicated than just skin color.
Also black people weren't so prolific in slave populations because of prejudice, they were just being sold at really cheap prices by Africans.
The first thing people generally see are your skin colour and those ignorant enough to be extremely racist tend not to judge on other factors such as mannerisms. But I do agree with you on racism not being solely based on skin
What crazy is how minimal the chances of him being shot by this officer.
Actually he has a greater chance of being struck by lightning twice in the same year...and thats based on all police and not broken out by individual officer ethnicity
