So apparently the moderators do still technically exist. As evidenced by a couple of trolls being banned.
Hopefully this means that at some point soon something will be done to prevent the bots from posting hateful or explicit content.

I think that currently getting banned requires multiple clear violations of the terms of service. Either that or getting reported by so many people that the robots ban you. (I'm only half kidding. I know this sounds a little conspiracy crazy, but it wouldn't actually even be difficult to program a moderator application that functions off of this basic idea). In any case it is difficult to get banned. It requires behavior a lot worse than mild sexual commentary and light trolling.
