Eric Simons, along with friends, started up ClassConnect in the AOL building. After creating the base, Simons was left to continue working on it alone after his friends went back to college, resulting in this post. This site, along with another project songhop doesn't work anymore. He's since moved on with Thinkster, likely to be the legacy of ClassConnect, and his most successful project StackBlitz.

In short: No, they booted him from the building after revoking the badge that lets him in.
