Does it matter? - jeezus let kids identify as what they want - there's no surgery, or hormones involved, and they MAY change their mind. Unlike no sleep, choosing your pronouns at that age harms no one.

Well, it's not exactly harmless. It's destructive to the sensative perception of reality in transphobes, their tiny realities crumbling at the merest touch of non normative existence. This is only one of the reasons I support kids queerness but it's a fun one.

My youngest has days that are “girl” days and days that are “boy” days. That’s just it though, we don’t force it on him. He chooses to wear his sisters dresses (with her permission) or he chooses to wear typical boy clothes. As far as choosing a gender that young, I would be wary and suggest a lot of therapy with a specialist involved so the child isn’t influenced by someone taking them they HAVE to be a different gender.
