depends on what happened. If he was an asshole I'd say it's pretty justified to be upset at a friend for dating someone that hurt you.

Even if he wasn‘t an a-hole, it‘s not fun seeing your friend kiss someone you were in love with.

If they're an ex, you shouldn't be thinking about them in any type of way, they don't exist anymore. If you're friends starts dating then, that's not a real friend. Now that friend doesn't exist anymore either.
