Describe the color red without using the word red

This is absolutely beautiful...I wonder what they would say for other colors

I would have said:"The feeling in your mouth when you eat pizza that is to hot."

I would have said: "Periodsubstance"

I also would have said the blood of angry men... Or the rose the phantom gives Christine. (Phantom of the Opera is a thousand times better than Les Miserables but Les Miz is still the second best musical ever.)
