the only thing ps4 really has over the xbox one is the used games policy other then that nothing it doesn't watch you when the console is off and on plus if you have 10 family members (or friends) you can share a game with them online.

What can also dictate that is the actual companies themselves holding press conferences and telling us exactly what the new machines can do

I'm more interested I'm what they actually do then what they tell us

Ok, seriously, the XBox 360 is 2005 technology. It won the last generation console war, there's no one (no one sane) who can seriously argue against that. But for the PS4 with its 2013 specs to NOT be better than the 360 it would literally have to burst into flames and start killing people. As far as PS4 Vs. One, there's no doubt Sony gave Microsoft a solid hit to the chin at E3 but until the boxes are in peoples homes and the games start rolling out I'm going to wait and see.

What did Sony do at E3?

First off, calm down nerd. Secondly, i wasnt arguing the ps4 vs 360 i was arguing it against the One. Obviously we will truly see which one is better when they both come out but you can still take into account what Xbox said they will do. Which is unneccasarily complicate the way people share games. I really do think Microsoft will see the the financial reprocussions of this move when the two consoles are released.

Were you responding to me, because I was responding to spartanfluffy. Personally I think Microsoft grew overconfident with the success of the 360, and figured most people would by the next XBox whatever they did. So they've pushed more digital rights features and big media features than they otherwise would have, moving their non-game interests foreword into everyone's living room via the One. Sony, finding themselves the underdog for the last several years, is more willing to cater to what gamers want and this is going to give them a head start. It will be interesting to see how Microsoft adjusts course, if it does (they might still feel they have enough momentum to not have to). I've been playing games on my pc mostly for a while now, I can wait a see how things shake out.
