Ever felt this terrible?

I apologised a hundred times, kissed it‘s paw, and hugged it till it calmed down

And then you chase after them trying to apologize but they keep running because they think you're about to finish them off

I accidentally sat on my cat two days ago. She wasn't hurt, just surprised. She blends in with the blanket I use as a buffer so I don't have to vacuum my chair as much, I can just change and wash the blanket.... and it was dark.
