How come every big comic book movie always has a story like this behind it?
"We were gonna do this really kick-ass thing that would have pleased the fans and not detracted from the experience of general moviegoers but we didn't on the off chance someone didn't get it."
Y'all put a fucking cartoon pig and a school girl that pilots a mech powered by a spider in your movie but a cute nod to the current Spider-Man, the last guy people might have liked better, and the guy before who was so big in pop culture during his time as Spider-Man that anybody over 20 knows him would have been too much for audiences?
I got nothing.
