Very confused

I'm surprised you didn't say American, since we're usually the first ones bashed for using imperial system

When I was in the US, a kinda hillbilly looking old man asked me how tall I was (because I'm kinda tall I guess, for a woman at least). So I told him I'm 178cm tall and that I don't know how how much that is in feet and inches because I'm from Europe. So he proceeded to pull out a piece of paper and pen and write down the calculations because he knew what the conversion rate was. I was a bit baffled but he seemed friendly so I just looked as he calculated how tall I am in Murican units. Turns out it's between 5'10" and 5'11".
