Fact: all moms sit down first when you hand them your phone

Okay but I think this is because they value it as being really important to them - paying attention to their children by giving them extended and undivided attention. Same reason they also take your phone when wanting to view it - they want to really take time to look at it instead of just glancing at it, for every moment spent with and invested in your child is precious.

Usually when I show my aunt something on my phone, she takes the phone, looks at it, and starts scrolling
