That sorta happens now and has since social media started. I've always known at least one person who doesn't have Facebook for this or that reason but honestly if you're a well adjusted human being I don't see a reason to not have one

hmm...maybe they just feel there's a lot of toxicity around them, or maybe it consumes too much of their time which doesn't make the person productive

Those are pretty valid. I tend to stay out of comment sections there because I can't go two minutes without getting into an argument with strangers.

I've noticed fewer and fewer of my friends make posts on Facebook anymore and those that do usually just put crap meme's up that you've seen numerous times already. I don't use it much anymore.
