When I had visited @rpp163 in the USA, he had told me about some bloke with ~80% wolf pet. Naturally, I didn’t believe him. Well, apparently in Wisconsin, you can own a quite a few exotic pets, including wolves (up to a certain percentage of wolf). We were driving around what is known as the “Fox Valley area, and sure as shit, I saw the wolf he was talking about. This gentlemen obviously took very good care of it. It was quite a sight, considering it would probably come up to about my diaphragm just standing on all fours.

Wolamutes are malamute and timberwolf hybrids that are specifically bred to be up to but not over 98% wolf. 98 is the highest percentile in most states that a dog is allowed to be hybridized with a wolf, although in most states it's much lower. But, despite being mostly timberwolf, wolamutes are selectively bred so that they have a friendly disposition. Plus, they're fucking huge.

And for the record, I had a lab/wolf hybrid, and if he liked you he was the sweetest creature on earth. If he didn't, well, you didn't come to our house anymore.
