And now people in Missouri are surprised they are being flooded and are "surprised".
Bunch of floodwaters upstream? What the fuck did you think was going to happen!?
I feel for those taken by surprise. I don't have much sympathy who is going to remain downstream in a low-lying area near the Missouri or the Mississippi for the next two weeks.
Hopefully the Ohio River doesn't start flooding. The Ohio + the Missouri flooding at the same time... that's going to be biblical for parts of the Mississippi.
NOTE: I'm not ranting on the people in Nebraska actually suffering; the weather changed so fast they couldn't have for-seen this to this extreme. It's everyone 100+ miles downstream.

Please don’t tell me the whole Midwest is going to pot. I’m supposed to be in Cleveland for a trade show next week
Yeah my grandparents are just underneath the Missouri river by a mile and its slowly flooding their way. They're a bit lucky because the flood has a few hills to conquer before it can reach them
Why are they still there? Why are you posting this instead of going to get your fucking grandparents? I'm sure they'll comp you for the gas and housing if you save 1/4th of the shit they love.
I took "a few hills" in a N/S direction. If it's E/W and they are on high ground, my bad.
1. They built that house.
2. They're still safe for a while. They're not in any danger, but this is the closest theyve gotten to being concerned
3. I have family that lives 5 minutes away to help them if they need it
4. I'm 200 miles away
I'm going down there Thursday so theres no need to rush when theres no emergency. If you're going to try and troll, you'll have to try harder than that
