Necessary to meet basic fying regulations as well as to stop a total of 346 people from dying. They made changes to the plane, never offered training for the changes, never informed the buyers of the changes, and did not mention them in the flying manuals. Even if they charged extra for the basic necessaries? No one could buy them as no one knew they had to.
Apparently without the software the plane overcorrects itself, so it starts heading down at an alarming rate and the pilots can't manually do anything so they just die. I think it's the same thing that happened to Malaysia airlines and another one I can't think atm but it also started with an M.
It was Ethiopian Airlines and Lion Air... I planned to become an air hostess so I've been following the tragedies faithfully. Two crashes five months apart in the same type of plane and in both instances everybody died
Oh it wasn't the crashes that changed my mind, it's just no longer my dream. I love flying and travel but I think I'll do it on my own instead.
If I did though I'd absolutely go through emirates, etihad or Qatar. Absolutely incredible benefits and salary, as long as you're willing to take it seriously
Good for you, I think being an air hostess would be such hard work, not only are you travelling for hours but you don't get to go and see most of the places you travel.
Thank you.
It really does look like a tough job, dealing with customers is generally difficult, having to pacify them whilst moody and tired and hungry through turbulence and such... I think I'd commit murder
As far as being an flight attendant and not being able to see the places you fly to, I can say that you do get to see them as there are layovers. unless you are doing short haul flights some companies even pay hourly while you are in layover!
Nope, I'm finishing my psych degree then going to change it in to do my post grad in education.
Yourself? Are you studying or working or anything like that?
Yes! What a worthwhile degree, good on you.
I'm studying Behavioural science in psychology, majoring in Neuroscience so lots of brain stuff. Hoping to maybe go into social services and help traumatised patients (mainly children) and educate lower socio-economic communities on how development works. It's going to be a long road to get there though haha
That sounds absolutely incredible. I never had the brain for neuroscience (haha) but it was always so fascinating. The best of luck with your endeavours!
Nonsense, neither do I so it's gonna be a lot of hard work but with time I'll get there. You could always try and go into Neuroscience if you wanted. Thank you! You too
