i play warcraft a few times a month. Probably not enough to warrant the subscription fee but when i do play it i kinda prefer to be able to level my higher than 20 dudes

Interesting! I have played on and off since 2008. I started at the same time you did, and went pretty steadily until mid-late WOTLK.
Actually became a pretty elite player. Neverr played seriously since then- but I have played.
also i started playing warcraft partway into burning crusade
