Honestly one of my favourite things to do in my free time is the basic "daily chores" like shopping or hanging out the laundry or making coffee. Puts a little bit more human-ness into your weekend.

This is propaganda sold to us by the council of adulthood. Once upon a time we could spend 2 days playing with toys and nobody said a word. Now, doing laundry the most relaxing part of our weekends because it's relatively easy and everything else sucks

Nah I just really like the smell of wet laundry. I don't know if others like doing it or not that's just what I enjoy. I could still spent most of my day playing with toys but now that my brain has developed that bit that tells me "this toy isn't real, it doesn't share my own thoughts" it makes it less enjoyable.
