Vladimir sounds just like Bernie did until he became a multimillionaire and now thinks he should keep his fortunes.....
This will be an interesting campaign of hypocrisy.
It’s a valid point in theory. Money often changes people’s outlook- turns out what we think is a lot of money when we don’t have it, is usually less than we thought it was when we do. However- Sanders a hypocrite? He is on record saying he wants to raise taxes on the wealthy, and voted against a tax bill that would benefit him. If we raised taxes we would see if he paid them or tried to cheat them. Sanders is a socialist- but socialist doesn’t mean by default poor. There are flavors of socialism- some more “equal” than others. He’s not a saint- Like most of us he could do less for himself and more for others- but does it make me or you bad people to spend on a TV or snacks we don’t need instead of donating it for causes we believe in? Few people give all they have for what they believe. So he’s certainly human yes. just on hypocrisy I don’t know we can call him that for being a socialist with money.
To be clear I’m not saying he should be president. While I think he has some noble ideas and some good suggestions here and there- I agree with something your comment raises which is that we do not really have a good gauge on the man. Most either see him as a savior because of his message of “free and equal” but haven’t given much thought to how and if that would actually happen; or see him as “crazy commie Bernie...” who wants to make all private property state owned and auction off everyone’s belongings to buy hackisacks and patchouli. The truth is more complex- but we don’t get that information. We get these extreme views of the man as a saint or a devil. No one is “the champion of the people” because the people all want different things. The champion to one is the scourge of another. So what I want to know is who Sanders plans to get the screwjob and how.
