Well duh, the Witcher franchise was written by a Polish guy. I've downloaded all the original books (in Polish) a couple of years ago, but still haven't started reading it yet.

The crane in Gdansk was for many years the biggest crane in the world. Its been rebuilt a few times. Worth a visit! Gdansk is lovely. Ive been There twice.
