No they're called stretched lobes...gauges are the measurements I.e. 2 gauge; 0 gauge (sizes under 00 are measured by gauge... anything bigger is nths of an inch. like mine are 7/8ths of an inch they are also measured in millimeters which mine are 22 mm)
