Yeaaahhhh..... given that Tim Cook (who The president called “Tim Apple” in the same sentence e compared him to another “favorite” of his “Jeff Bozo” of Amazon..) and Trump and cook have butted heads before, Trump has criticized Apple, and the government is pushing for tariffs on China with Trumps stance on the threats of China to stop making US phones being “just make them on the USA..” it’s highly doubtful the move was done for apples sake. In fact- replace that Apple with a picture of an American worker and that’s more like it-

- because of all the “hidden motives” and “bail outs” the current administrations policies towards China have- the biggest one is an attempt to make good on promises to “make America Great again” and to produce jobs in the US for “unskilled” labor and industry like manufacturing. People have done break downs before of what a US manufactured I device would cost at the same mark up and even the conservative ones are prohibitively expensive. So really this move and the fallout would be less help to Apple and would shift the market towards competitors unless Apple found another foreign supplier of manufacturing. And of course- Apple, a Blue state company that leans left and represents a huge demographic ideologically of people who aren’t supporters of the current administration would be exactly who the administration would be trying to help? I think it’s more likely any hidden motives are aimed elsewhere.
