Actually happened just yesterday me and my husband and our daughter were going to the store and we were turning left across a busy section and this dumbass stepped off the curb and walks right up to our car as we're driving by he's like a second from getting hit he doesn't stop doesn't slow down he clearly saw us. Give us a heart attack last thing my husband needs is to run over somebody. My husband has so much anxiety and he lived his life there so and he had such a terrible life growing up that it affects him everyday. And then this dumbass just decides I'm going to just see if I can get killed here I go. Honestly the dumbass got hit by a car I've been more mad that are cars covered in his blood.

As a pedestrian these people piss me off SO much. Theres a particular one block stretch near me, theres about a third, maybe half a mile between traffic lights so its understandable why people run it, but there is a ridiculous high fatality count there because idiots will run it at night, wearing dark clothes and there ARE NO STREET LIGHTS that work on that stretch. A woman ran it with her 5 year old who couldn't keep up. 5 year old was hit and killed. That's not the drivers fault, but they are going to be haunted.

Different street. My first Halloween living in Vegas, we were driving home (my mom HATES driving at night period, but as a rule never ever goes out on Halloween, but there was something with one of my nephews). We were maybe 100 yards from our apartment complex when we saw the street was blocked with a car pulled off next to this narrow gravel median dividing the two directions of trafticand a body covered in the middle of the closest lane. A woman half collapsed on the median rocking back and forth, totally in shock. A group of about 4-5 teenagers had decided to race across the busy 8 lanes of traffic on their skateboards(rather than go up to the crosswalk maybe 150 yards up). They made it to the median but when they went to cross the east bound lanes, apparently one kid hesitated just a few seconds, before rolling after them, without looking, or maybe he thought the oncoming car would be able to see him (dressed in all black) and be able to stop in time.

He was wrong and she was severely traumatized, and I'm sure his friends were as well. Some people seem to think "pedestrian right of way" somehow lets them defy the laws of physics.
