Cant think of a good way to use it in a sentence but its used to describe things like
"Real men dont cry"
"A real man takes what he wants"
Emphasizes assertive behavior cold emotional responses and violence
You could also say
"I dont need your toxic masculinity to prove I'm a man"
It does have an actual definition, but the general use is ‘man does thing I don’t like and could possibly be connected to negative emotions’ ie someone says they don’t like TLJ cause holdo is quantifiably bad at her job yet is a ‘hero’ and gets hit with ‘toxic masculinity’ in the replies cause holdo possesses a vagoo.
Because it's no longer about the toxic stereotyping and more about saying "men are bad" and nullifying arguments made by men because it's just "toxic masculinity" to belive in a certain thing or have a certain opinion.
I see how that can become and issue. People always seem to twist labels.

Yep, and it ends up being a label you can slap on people you disagree with to shut them up.
For example men who didn't like "Captain Marvel" because of mediocre writing, bad acting, and overhype—they get accused of sexism.
Denying an accusation of sexism is apparently a symptom of toxic masculinity, so you can't try to refute that.
For normal, run of the mill men, who want to have an opinion about something, it's kind of a lose-lose.
(I'm using a bunch of examples from wiki to best summarize this) but if it's used in the correct terms, toxic masculinity is the "promotion of idealized masculine roles emphasizing toughness, dominance, self-reliance, and the restriction of emotion" that can result in violence, aggression, bullying, misogyny, homophobia, etc. It's like saying "boys will be boys" when they're bullying a kid at school, claiming that such toxic behavior is normal and inconsequential. It's basically a fixation on the stereotypical aspects of masculinity that takes them to extreme lengths.
Also, toxic masculinity isn't just harmful to women, it's harmful to everyone (yes, men included).
Masculinity itself isn't bad and it can be used in healthy ways to contribute to society. Criticising toxic masculinity is not about criticising men, it's about dismantling the harmful societal expectations that many men fall into without knowing.

We get into murky waters though, when the APA calls "traditional masculinity" harmful, when they are clearly referring to toxic behaviors that aren't traditions in most homes.
