the thing with user interfaces (and pretty much any kind of that sort of design be it actual physical stuff or other program stuff) youve got a term commonly used called "stupidproofing" because a non-idiot can figure out most things just clicking around and such but a very large amount of people are not non-idiots and those people might not even figure it out even with a perfect explanation.
