I've always had a problem with YouTube's newer versions, I can't watch old videos on HD. For example, some of Vanossgaming's 2016 videos were uploaded on 1080 60fps and I can see them at that definition but I need to set the app back to factory state; I can't watch em at 1080 nor 720p in the new version, why? Well, I have no fucking clue, maybe my phone just sucks or maybe there's something more

If you are on android switch to youtube vanced it is basically a highly modified version of the youtube app i believe you can set it to ignore resolution restrictions can't say if it will fix your issue or not

It might, I'll try it buddy, thanks for the tip. I don't know if it's a general problem for android users to not watch videos on high resolution (My phone's res it's 1920x1080), I just can't watch old videos on HD for some reason
