You could make a whole sentimental movie about the animal and how happy/sad its life was and I'd still eat it.
Why? Cause it's dead now and I was taught not to waste good food.
Besides, things that live must die. Sooner or later.

In Norway the kill date of salmon is listed on the package and I think that's great. It allows me to choose the freshest salmon and it's amazing they get it from kill date to store in sometimes as little as 3 days!

I wouldn't wear clothes if I had to make them myself. What does my laziness have to do with any of this?

this is a description of a farmer or a hunter. we don't put a best used by date on it we put month and year it was killed and in the freezer it goes. same for canning vegetables.
