I know this sounds badass in theory, but if she knew he was cheating, why not say it publicly and humiliate him there, instead of spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on a wedding that was never going to happen, buying a wedding dress, having friends and family spend vacation days and money flying out there, etc etc
Doing it in front of his family and friends would probably have made them feel as surprised, hurt, and betrayed as she probably felt. He violated her trust. I imagine she wondered ‘who is this man who I thought knew’ and wanted others to feel the same way about him, too. Revenge is a dish best served cold. But it’s even better when broadcast in front of a live studio audience.
I read the story, she got an anonymous text the night before the wedding with screen shots from months to just days before the wedding between her fiancé and another woman. Instead of cancelling she walked down the aisle and read the texts and as he left she told the guests that the party will continue and that it was a celebration of honesty and finding true love
