Or.... don’t. Find a person who works for you. Not everyone wants brains or cares about brains and that’s fine- because not everyone has “brains.” Those people shouldn’t have to be alone- and who dates them if everyone is dating “brains” anyway? It’s all relative anyway- the smartest person I know might be the dumbest person you’ve ever met and vice versa. Someone who can do complex calculus in seconds in their head may not have the brains to not give their identity to a scammer. A computer genius might not be able to do an oil change on a car- etc. just find a person you enjoy and you can build a happy life with- or pass some time with- or whatever it is you want in a relationship. Do you.
Lol. Yes. I certainly didn’t mean that- although I also don’t mean by this to not date your employee if that situation suits the two of you. (And I don’t mean the situation is your tailor...) although personally I usually caution against relationships with coworkers- especially when there’s a direct reporting relationship.
