Slightly misleading. The bracelet is called the Pavlok, and it doesn't shock you for eating fast food. It has a button that you can press when you're engaging in a bad habit that causes it to shock you when pressed - similar to the rubber band method.*
'
There is also an app that allows other people to shock you, and possibly a hand motion sensor (not sure about that) as an alternative. The band in no way registers when or what you're eating.
*rubber band method - you place a rubber band on your wrist, and any time you engage in a bad habit you're trying to break you snap the rubber band on the skin on your wrist
