I once got a friend off the hook from my insurance company by saying I was teaching her how to drive. She didn't have a DL, as she was from SF and never needed one (she had ID, don't conflate those two) and I let her drive around the parking lot of our community college. She, somehow, hit a fucking trash bin and pinned the damn thing before trying to accelerate away, but she fucking put it in reverse and scraped the shit out of the side of my car. After that incident I realized upping my insurance premium for stupid shit wasn't worth it, as over time it would cost more than the car, so I just went ham with it. I once nearly slid off a mountain while accidentally drifting. It was a gravel road on a curve and I didn't see the incline having the impact it did. It was really.... exhilarating. It's hard to call it fun...
