That's me and my fiance. We have a strict "no yelling" rule. If we are too angry to speak properly then we can call a time out where we will stop talking for 10 minutes and tey to talk again.
Its workes wonders for us. We may bicker a little and strongly disagree with each other on certain topics, but we havent had a genuine fight for almost a year
Babe,
It was an unexpected series of events that were as random, as they were surprising...
I cheated on you...
And therefore, if we puts our minds together, we can tackle this problem head on
'Honey, this isn't about me getting that roadster. It's about us vs the problem - how are we gonna pay for that roadster? You might have to give up that iphone.'
@shrekislove_ this sounds so reasonable but I think sometimes screaming and shouting and throwing tantrums helps purge the negative emotions. If you're constantly clinical in your approach the emotions behind it is cut off... you can discuss it once the emotions are purged
True. I've experienced this myself with my gf, and sometimes it is better to let it all out, and once all the negativity is depleted, we can start over refilling ourselves with love :D
