fair enough but please don't think that because you read about it in a book that automatically makes you know more about it then the person living it. Especially with mental health. if you haven't lived it you're just a bystander on the out side looking in.
Please don't confuse your one class that touched on my disease to my years of living with it, other many in depth talks with specialists, ect.
Perhaps they felt the need to google it because you aren't taking them seriously when they need help. Dismissing to certain degree I understand, there will always be a few crazies/liars/ect. but when you treat all your client base assuming that people are misinformed, paranoid, exaggerating, they don't get helped. With all these professions if you're not willing to listen just do the paperwork. ~Someone who at 19 had to be hospitalized repetitively for years, who had warning signs for years before hand, informed them im concerned and these things are wrong, was dismissed because no young girls can't be really sick you "look healthy", MEANWHILE IN INTERNAL ORGANS ZONE THINGS WERE NOT FINE.~ I trust professionals to a large degree but, everyone is human and makes mistakes, we can learn from each other, and appreciate those learning to help.
