Not just hospitals. To others who worked on the movie and contributed a lot but tend to be underpaid. To crew members with financial trouble or sick family members. To random strangers you meet who are in a bind, to buy things he doesn’t even need just to get a receipt so he can give a fan an autograph. To STILL attend the little league games of the kid of a director who did a 1995 flop film that at the time hurt your career- to stop by that directors studio and just hang out and have a few beers whenever you’re near his studio. What a wonderful man.
