As a college student this pic really grinds my gears. A LOT.
I mean, complain all you want about 40 hour work week. I have the same, did I also mention the homework we've got to do. For shits and giggles I counted the hours spent on schoolwork on a (rather busy, I'll admit) week. I got to 40... by wednesday. And I still had four more days of work ahead of me. Two of which I had to take public transport (1,5 hour trip to school) to school (since I have no income I can't fund a car). My sleep shedule is fucked up about as much as my parents, only in different ways AND I have to deal withnt getting any say in the household I too live in. This really agitates me, you know?
Those are all valid concerns but you don't have any major responsibilities while you are in school/college. When you have people who depend on you for survival, it becomes a whole another story. So let's just appreciate our parents who never let us see them struggle because you don't know why they've been through.
