I see this as an absolute win

When I was around 15-16, I was supposed to attend my cousin's wedding but I got really sick the day before so I couldn't. Back then I remembered saying to my mom "I'll just come to the next one" and she was kinda offended but turns out he divorced and did have a second wedding a few years later. And I did attend that one.
