My reading teacher never did like Romeo & Juliet she said it wasn't Shakespeare best play

It really wasn't. I haven't read many, but Romeo and Juliet wasn't his best.

Yup. Juliet was 13 years old and Romeo was 17. I'm guessing you haven't read the book?

Romeo was 16, and it's a play.

If y'all listened to "Love Story" you'd find out that Taylor's Romeo and Juliet had a happy ending. She used them as a metaphor for forbidden love.
