Please don't use biblical literalism to mock Christians. Most Christians don't believe the Bible to be the literal word of God, don't know or care how old Noah was when he died*, do believe in evolution, do support scientific advancement, etc.
*Many biblical scholars agree that Noah the man likely did not live to be 900+ years old and that the Bible doesn't claim as such, rather that the dynasty of Noah lasted for 900+ years. The Jewish writers who first compiled Old Testament texts likely borrowed from the Sumerian tradition of naming an era or dynasty after one person. This allows for a mythic heritage to legitimize the authority of whoever happens to be ruling at the moment.
Please note I'm not looking to argue but I disagree. You need to remember that man is created in God's image and God is, for lack of a better word, immortal has no beginning and no end and man was created this way too until man...screwed the pooch.

The bible is mostly metaphorical, not literal. Take everything you read in it with a grain of salt.
It's best when you receive the gift of faith. Just ask for it and open your eyes and heart. Telling me Jesus doesn't exist, and dwell in this Earth, is as hard to believe as trying to convince me my own dad is a figment of my imagination.
