When life gives you lemons it's because someone invented lemons

This says a lot about us. We invent a new fruit and then make a saying giving an omniscient being power over the thing WE did

Lots of animals need the energy, they need it to survive! The taste isn't the first thing coming to their little brain.
Some animals also can't taste some flavours (birds don't understand spicy things)
